JOB SUMMARY:This position oversees the direct management of the assigned clinical area and is responsible to achieve department and organizational goals to ensure optimal outcomes for designated patient populations within an approved operating budget. Responsible for the hiring, mentoring, counseling and continuous evaluation of departmental staff with authority to terminate with Human Resource direction and support. Maintain effective inter and intradepartmental communication to promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Shenandoah Medical Center. Provide leadership and expertise by facilitating an atmosphere of interactive management, leadership and the development of collegial relationships among all team members. QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as Registered Nurse Active State of Iowa (or compact agreement) nursing license Bachelor's degree upon hire or satisfied completion within eighteen (18) months of hire and/or experience in managing multiple areas of focus simultaneously and/or prior leadership experience in a business department role.
