To support this mission, we are seeking driven, dedicated, and collaborative individuals who are passionate about contributing to our continued growth within the dynamic cannabis industry.About the Role:Fine Fettle is seeking a Cultivation Technician at our cutting-edge, 118,000 square foot production facility in Macon, GA. A Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our Production facility. This role involves monitoring plant health, managing growth cycles, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis cultivation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Primary Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:Monitor and maintain plant health, including watering, feeding, pruning, and training plants.Identify and report any signs of disease, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.Assist with the cloning, transplanting, and harvesting processes.Accurately record data related to plant growth, health, and production.Ensure all cultivation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Assist with harvesting plants at the appropriate time to maximize yield and potency.Participate in the drying, trimming, bucking and curing processes to prepare cannabis for packaging.Work closely with the production teams to meet production goals and timelines.This position regularly utilizes standard office equipment, technology, and software applications.Perform all tasks set by management in a safe and efficient manner.Responsibilities may evolve to align with the dynamic needs of the facility, offering opportunities for learning, growth, and adaptability.Skills and Qualifications:Be 21 or older, a US Citizen, and willing to commute to Macon-Bibb County for this career opportunityHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong communication skills coupled with a positive, professional attitudeStrong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating proceduresAbility to lift up to 50 Pounds consistently, and must be able to bend, squat, reach, kneel, walk, etc.Ability to pass a Federal Background Check with no felony convictionsCritical Competencies:Passion for the cannabis industry and commitment to producing high-quality productsFamiliarity with state and federal cannabis lawsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team1 - 2 years of indoor cultivation or comparable experience is highly preferredFamiliarity with harvesting and post-harvest activities like Drying, Curing, Trimming, Packaging, etc.Cleanliness, GMP familiarityWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:Normal Production environment May be exposed to extreme temperatures Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance Frequent bending and moving from sitting to standing and reverseBenefits:Competitive pay with opportunities for growth, development, and advancement.Comprehensive benefit packages that offer medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Paid time off, including holidays and vacation days.401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Employer Matching Contributions.Generous Employee Discount.A collaborative and supportive work environment at a growing company.Americans With Disabilities Statement:Must be able to perform all essential functions of this position with reasonable accommodation.
