The centers provide comprehensive urgent care services with access to additional healthcare resources and support from medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians.Opportunity:Physician - Emergency Medicine - Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine - Urgent CareJob Details:• Provide urgent care services to patients 6 months and older with 36-48 patient encounters per shift• Must be residency trained and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds by ABMS or AOB• Board certification must be from American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Board only• Must demonstrate 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months with relevant experience• Work 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday (8am-8pm) and 8-hour weekend shifts (9am-5pm)• Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound care, I&D procedures, splinting, and IV placement• Interpret X-rays and EKGs with on-site equipment available• Must be comfortable with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required• Must be trained to treat both adult and pediatric patients• Work collaboratively with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians• Available for up to 24 shifts per month with preference for significant shift coverage• Flexible scheduling across multiple St. Louis area locations• Must be available for interview with medical director prior to confirmation• 90-day credentialing timeframeCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
