Job Overview We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology department at SBSH. The role involves performing CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation while maintaining patient safety and comfort. CT Technologists are responsible for producing cross-sectional images of the body to assist in diagnosing a wide range of conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders Prepare and position patients for scans Administer contrast media as required Operate CT scanners and ensure image quality Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records (PACS) Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols Assist radiologists with diagnostic interpretation support Required Qualifications Minimum 1 2 years of CT Tech experience ARRT Certification (Radiography + CT preferred) New York State Radiologic Technologist License BLS Certification (AHA) Experience with contrast injections NY license + ARRT are standard requirements for radiology roles at SBSH Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
