American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of sonography experience, RDMS certification, and a general sonography background with vascular and echo experience.Job Details• Outpatient/inpatient imaging setting at a regional medical center,• General sonography role requiring vascular and echo experience,• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM,• 40 hours per week,• On-call is required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer in a US hospital setting,• RDMS certification required,• Current BLS (AHA only) required,• General sonography background with vascular and echo experience required,• Graduate of an accredited sonographer program required,• Active license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable,• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer,• US SSN required,• Date of birth required for consideration,• New graduates will not be considered,Additional Information• Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction,• Operates sonographic equipment to capture images and communicate results of diagnostic examinations,• Responsible for patient safety protocols throughout imaging procedures,• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and their imaging needs,• Provides age-appropriate care across the patient population served,• CPI certification is mandated for this position
