The facility maintains high standards of patient care with modern equipment and strong physician support, working in collaboration with Yakima Gastroenterology Associates to deliver specialized digestive health services.Opportunity:Physician - Internal Medicine - GastroenterologyJob Details:• Handle 5 patient encounters per shift with call responsibilities• Perform 5 MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care) cases per shift• Conduct hospital rounding duties• Must be board certified with clean history for expedited privileges consideration• Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days• ACLS and BLS certifications required• Licensed in WA required (IMLC not accepted)• Perform upper GI endoscopy including biopsies, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders• Conduct injection of varices and ERCP procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic)• Handle PEG tube placements and esophageal dilatation/manometry• Perform esophageal manometry interpretation and small bowel biopsies• Conduct lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy• Perform colonoscopy with biopsies and polyp excision capabilities• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) experience required• Liver biopsy procedures and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes• Lodging available at Home2 Suites Yakima Airport or Tru by Hilton Yakima Airport• Access to Yakima Air Terminal and Tri-Cities Airport (90 miles southeast)Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
