The Director will manage clinical protocols, staff education, and the operational functions of the trauma program to ensure optimal care for trauma patients. Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Oversee and ensure compliance with Trauma Center verification standards and ACS guidelines, maintaining survey readiness and preparing staff for verification processes. Manage the trauma program's operations, including planning, implementation, education, performance improvement, and marketing. Coordinate clinical management and the development of protocols across the continuum of trauma care, ensuring quality and patient safety. Supervise the trauma registry, data collection, and financial aspects, while leading research initiatives to improve care practices and contribute to broader trauma care system development. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Active RN license in Virginia Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nursing leadership in trauma, emergency, ICU, or critical care settings. Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordinating trauma care and leading multidisciplinary teams. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; CEN or CCRN certification within two years.
