A full-time School Psychologist position is available to cover a maternity leave in an elementary school setting. This contract role is for the full semester with an end date of June 12, 2026. The position involves managing an elementary caseload and working 37.5 hours per week. Location: Warwick, RI Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and well-being Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Provide counseling and crisis intervention when necessary Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and regulations Desired Qualifications: Valid licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary-aged children Strong assessment and intervention skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage an elementary caseload independently Knowledge of educational and psychological testing tools and techniques This full-time contract is a great opportunity for a School Psychologist seeking a maternity leave assignment in an elementary school environment.
