All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: * Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance * Paid Time Off from Day One * 403-B Retirement Plan * 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave * Career Development * Whole Person Well-being Resources * Mental Health Resources and Support * Pet Benefits Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 501 REDMOND RD NW City: ROME State: Georgia Postal Code: 30165 Job Description: Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, no call * Ensures efficient and coordinated services through screening, diagnosis, treatment, and support/educational services. * Ensures contact with referring clinicians when patients need further diagnostic evaluation or breast biopsy. * Facilitates patient continuity of care between hospital departments and providers, including follow-up for laboratory, radiology, genetics, and pathology procedures. * Serves as a resource for patients with health concerns and educate them on what to expect before, during, and after diagnostic and treatment procedures. * Develops and revises patient educational materials and provide staff and community education as required. * Demonstrates awareness of patients' holistic needs, including physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and cultural aspects. * Assists research staff in identifying potential patients for hospital-based research protocols. * Tracks metrics identified by the Oncology Leadership Team and submits reports on established dates. * Facilitates patient navigation through the imaging and cancer pathway as the single point of contact. * Verifies accuracy of orders and ensure they are scanned into medical records prior to testing. * Assists with facilitating an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer care. * Establishes and maintains positive communication and relationships with referring physicians and cancer care specialists. Education: * Associate's [Required] * Bachelor's [Preferred] Field of Study: * in Nursing or Radiologic Technology Work Experience: * 2+ years of oncology and/or radiology clinical [Preferred] * Experience working with electronic health records [Required] Licenses and Certifications: * Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] * Registered Radiology Technologist (RT)(R)(ARRT) [Required] OR Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required] OR Certified Radiologic Technologists (CRT) [Required] OR American Association Medical Assistants (CMA) [Required] OR Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) [Required] OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) [Required] OR National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) [Required] OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) [Required] OR Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) [Required] Pay Range: $20.04 - $37.27 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
