Morrisville, NC Durham Nc 3208 $16.13/Per Hour Slitter Associate * Job Description * Branch Details At onset, undergoes training as part of the onboarding program which includes card recognition. Knows and follows safety rules; knows how to stop the machine in case of emergency. Keeps the work environment around the assembly line clean, neat, and orderly. Collects finished product from the slitter and inspects for quality, correct material, and visual defects. Places inspected cards into specified packaging containers for final or future pack out in accordance with job jacket instructions. Properly labels and loads finished product on pallets for transport. Assists with correcting very basic mechanical problems. Notifies operator/ line lead and supervision if non-conforming material (including packaging material) is discovered. Notifies operator and supervision if maintenance is needed on equipment. Understands and adheres to quality standards and procedures and Company recycling program. Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures; promptly corrects hazardous situations. Follows all company policies, security protocols & procedures, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. May be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed. Durham NC 3208
