This role offers the opportunity to work as a Cath Lab Tech in a busy cardiac catheterization lab located in Valparaiso, IN. The position is contract-based with a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, offering either 8-4:30 p.m. shifts or 10-hour shifts from 7-5:30 p.m. for four days a week. Weekend on-call and holiday coverage are required, providing valuable experience in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures using specialized Cath Lab equipment Provide direct patient care for outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cases with a 1:1 patient ratio Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support efficient and safe clinical workflows Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards Participate in orientation and training modules including EPIC Cupid system Qualifications: Valid Radiologic Technologist state licensure ARRT certification and BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist Ability to float to nearby Munster Cath Lab as needed Team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills Comfortable working within a cardiac catheterization environment Location Insights: Situated in Valparaiso, IN, this cardiac catheterization lab provides a focused and supportive environment with state-of-the-art cardiac technology.
