Job Description:The EEG Technician is responsible for performing Electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures under the supervision of a Registered EEG Technician and/or at the direction of a epilepsy care provider. This position provides care to patients in the hospital and EEG clinics using neuro-diagnostic technologies and through coordination of care with other health care professionals.To show our commitment to you and to assist with your transition into our organization, we will also offer up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus with 1 year plus experience.Why Grand Junction & St. Mary's?Grand Junction offers a lower cost of living, outdoor recreation, and a close-knit community, while St. Mary's provides the resources of a large health system with the feel of a regional hospital; a combination many caregivers find uniquely rewarding.Posting Specifics:Benefits Eligible: Yes (Health, Vision, & Dental Insurance, 401(K), education assistance, + many more)Schedule: Day shiftHours: Full-time, 36 hours/weekClick here to schedule a call with a recruiter!Click here to learn about being a EEG Technician.What You'll DoIn this role, you will provide expert neurodiagnostic support across a full spectrum of EEG services, including long-term monitoring and advanced procedures.Key responsibilities include:Perform and monitor routine, intermittent, and continuous EEG studies, including real-time long-term monitoringAccurately recognize and document epileptic and non-epileptic patterns in accordance with ACNS guidelinesIdentify EEG changes correlated with clinical behavior and anatomical findingsOperate, troubleshoot, and optimize EEG acquisition systems and montagesDocument studies thoroughly in the EMR and assist with study pruning and archivingCommunicate effectively with physicians and care teams for event escalation and patient concernsMentor and support fellow EEG technologists as part of a collaborative teamMinimum Qualifications:EEG Technician (26.48 - 40.87 based on experience)High School Graduate or GEDBLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare ProvidersAvailability to work varying shifts which may include nights, weekends, and on-call.Familiarity with technology including the Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Qualifications:Registered EEG Technician (29.14 - 44.94 based on experience)Current Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) credential or equivalent.Current Certification for Long Term Monitoring (CLTM).BLS Certification or RQI for Healthcare Providers.Licensed in the State of practice if applicable.Availability to work varying shifts which may include nights, weekends, and on-call.Familiarity with technology including EEG acquisition systems and Microsoft Office.Location:St. Marys Regional HospitalWork City:Grand JunctionWork State:ColoradoScheduled Weekly Hours:36The hourly range for this position is listed below.
