The Intake Specialist provides operational support and general office assistance within Student Health and Counseling Services. This role contributes to outreach and promotional initiatives and supports wellness resources such as the campus food pantry by coordinating donations, maintaining organization, and assisting students in accessing services. The Intake Specialist must be able to recognize signs of acute distress or cris and respond with appropriate interventions. Success in this role requires strong independent judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion, tact, and professionalism. The position follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is grant funded and has the potential for continued funding after December 2026.
