DescriptionProvides intake diagnosis, administers Individual and group, case-management, and psycho-education in accordance with TTBH Guidelines. Work performed will occur in the Diversion Center setting as necessary to meet client needs and will offer comprehensive care and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises, providing an alternative to jail. LPHA participates in clinical consultations and will be required to coordinate therapeutic activities as indicated by program guidelines. Works under the supervision of the Program Supervisor with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Will work closely with program staff and Law Enforcement partners to help individuals involved in or at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system.Position may include cross coverage and assignment to serve in other programs to provide coverage and treatment services.RequirementsMaster's degree in Social, Behavioral, or Human Services plus State of Texas licensure as a Practitioner of theHealing Arts (LCSW, LPC, LMFT...). Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.Must complete State-mandated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Online within 30-45 days of hire. (HHSC training requirements)Must become certified to complete the State approved Uniform Assessment for Adults or Child/Youth within 90 days of hire and maintain that certification without lapse.
