This opportunity calls for a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong expertise in neuro and angiogram procedures. You will support licensed practitioners in performing a range of specialized fluoroscopic and neuro-interventional procedures, requiring precision and adherence to sterile technique in a busy, high-acuity environment. Location: Positioned in Delphos, OH, this role caters to local candidates who can maintain on-call availability within 30 minutes of the hospital. Key Responsibilities: Assist in diagnostic/interventional peripheral vascular exams and neuro-interventional procedures including cerebral angiograms, thrombectomies, and carotid stenting Prepare and administer contrast media using power injectors as directed Operate imaging and associated equipment effectively to ensure quality procedures Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff Verify patient history, lab work, and informed consent prior to procedures Document all procedural steps accurately, including pre- and post-procedure details Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and clinical teams Maintain inventory and support unit operations including assisting with staff education Participate in call rotation including weekday evenings and every fourth weekend Qualifications & Desired Experience: ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology required; Cardiovascular or Vascular-Interventional Certifications preferred Minimum 2-3 years' Interventional Radiology Tech experience with neuro and angiogram proficiency preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) desirable Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS systems preferred Ability to work flexible shifts (four 9-hour days, Monday-Friday) and respond to on-call duties Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills essential Working Conditions: May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, physical restraints, and verbal or physical patient interactions Physical requirements include lifting, pushing, stooping, standing, and walking within moderate intensity ranges This contract role offers a challenging and rewarding setting where your specialized skills will directly impact comprehensive patient care in interventional radiology.
