We are your family, friends and neighbors, and we work with and for our community to provide quality healthcare that fits your life and lifestyle.Position Details:Shift: Full-Time DaysHours: 40 hours a weekEmergency shift coverage as neededSEIU Local 49 represented positionDate Posted: 3/19/26Job Summary:Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect medical equipment and instrumentation, including life support equipment.Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.Diagnose and correct systems and equipment malfunctions.Maintain documentation on new and current equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures within computerized software system (CMMS).Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operation and maintenance.Fire Alarm Response, Various committee participation, Emergency Preparedness, Snow Removal, any other task deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Manager.Qualifications:Certificate in Biomedical Technology is highly desirable, as well as six months to a year experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.Entry-level (0-2 years) experience in repairing/maintaining medical or electronic equipment is preferred.U.S. military biomedical equipment technology program training is highly valued.Knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems.Strong communication skills to interact with medical staff and strong analytical abilities.Ability to lift equipment and work with small tools for detailed repairs.
