Position Type: Special Education Services/Intervention Specialist Date Posted: 1/9/2026 Location: Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools Closing Date: Until Filled   Additional Information: Show/Hide The Newton Falls Exempted Village School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Intervention Specialist licensed for grades K-12. The ideal candidate will bring diverse instructional skills and a strong foundation in primary reading, with the ability to support students across multiple grade levels in multiple schools. POSITION / DUTIES: * Intervention Specialist * (Grades K-12) SALARY: * As per the Negotiated Agreement. QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong background in early literacy and reading intervention. * Experience in a co-teaching setting and resource room environment. * Demonstrated skill in IEP development and implementation. * Familiarity with Ohio's Learning Standards and data-driven instruction. * Science of Reading and Dyslexia training preferred. * Experience supporting students at the high school level is a plus. * This position serves multiple grade levels and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to helping every student succeed academically and behaviorally.
