Boro Park Center - Activities Therapist (Full-Time)Boro Park Center is seeking an energetic and passionate Activities Therapist to work Full-Time in our skilled nursing facility located in Brooklyn, NY.Duties Include:Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interestsWork directly with Residents on units; without direct supervisionOrganize and obtain supplies and equipment as requestedAssist recreation specialists & set up program areas as neededKeep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activitiesAssist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate unitsBe familiar with established emergency proceduresRequirements:Positive attitude and energy is a must!MUST have prior long-term care experiencePrevious experience with a geriatric population preferredStrong computer skills necessaryAbility to work effectively as a team memberExcellent organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-taskLocation:Boro Park Center, Brooklyn, NYAbout us:Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 510-bed rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in the heart of the Boro Park section of Brooklyn.
