The Clarksburg VA Medical Center, also known as the Louis A. Major Duties/Responsibilities * Perform general cardiology clinical care, including in-patient consultation, out-patient consultation and out-patient clinic. * Perform echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, Holter monitor an electrocardiogram interpretation, diagnosis and management of arrhythmias. * Takes an active role in the evaluation of the patient, decision for treatment/care, and documentation in the patient electronic records. * Serves on service level and/or hospital committees as needed and participate in the facility peer review program. * Maintains professional competency, courtesy and flexibility or provide the necessary services of this specialty. * Possess strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills with a commitment to academics. * Maintains a record of successful practice management and excellent clinical skills. * All other duties assigned based on the needs of the Medical Facility. Work Schedule: 8am-4:30pm; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service/medical center.
