A rapidly growing closed-door Long Term Care pharmacy is seeking four (4) Direct Hire Staff Pharmacists to support expanding operations in Westerville, OH. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring safe and effective medication management within a specialized healthcare setting. Location: Westerville, OH Job Type: Direct Hire Start: ASAP Shift Options: 3 positions: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 6:00 PM-2:30 AM with every other weekend scheduled 1 position: 7 on/7 off schedule, Monday-Sunday 6:00 PM-4:30 AM Required License: Must hold an active Ohio Pharmacist license Responsibilities: Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug choice, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration Verify accuracy of dispensed medications and appropriate labeling Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team members to address medication-related questions Oversee preparation of medications ensuring compliance with safety standards Recommend therapy changes to physicians and facility staff when necessary Investigate and resolve medication-related issues Maintain accurate customer databases including medical history, clinical, and laboratory data Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist with current Ohio license Experience in long term care or closed-door pharmacy preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Proficient with pharmacy management systems (experience with Frameworks is a plus) This direct hire opportunity provides stability within a growing operation and a chance to work varied shifts designed to offer flexibility.
