Clinical Research - Nephrologist Schedule: Part-Time (8 hours per week) Key Responsibilities: Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for clinical research studies.Conduct medical screenings, physical exams, and patient assessments.Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP , regulatory guidelines, and study protocols.Collaborate with research staff to ensure accurate EHR/EDC documentation and reporting of AEs/SAEs .Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and audits.Support study design, protocol feasibility, and participant recruitment.Attend investigator meetings and contribute clinical insights on safety and outcomes.Stay current on clinical research regulations and nephrology advancements. Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted Connecticut medical license.Board Certification in Nephrology required.Valid DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification.Previous clinical research experience preferred (training provided if needed).Proficient with EHR, EDC, and CTMS systems.Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.Strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered research.
