This position is critical to the organisation, administration, and continuous improvement of the MLS program, ensuring compliance with NAACLS accreditation standards and fostering an enriching learning environment.Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Oversee the organization, administration, and general effectiveness of the MLS Education Program. Plan, develop, and evaluate the curriculum to ensure high-quality education and program compliance. Direct and supervise program faculty and staff to achieve academic and operational goals. Maintain regular contact with students, faculty, and program personnel, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure the program meets all NAACLS accreditation and certification requirements. Participate in the budget preparation process and manage program resources effectively. Coordinate all student learning activities, including lectures, tests, and grading. Candidate requirements Master's or Doctoral degree required. Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related science from a U.S.-accredited college or university. At least three years of teaching experience in a related field. Knowledge of educational methods and program administration. ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of NAACLS accreditation and certification procedures.
