About the role: As part of Ampere's Global Engineering Labs Team, you will build and perform troubleshooting system and configuration of our hardware platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position 5 days per week. What you'll achieve: Build and perform system troubleshooting and configuration of hardware platformsLab infrastructural hardware installation, prep/setup of benches & racksCable/wire management for datacenter needs and platform test setupsOrganizing storage areas & lab workspaces, transporting shipment boxes on pallet jacks, dispositioning packing materialIssuing platforms, components & chips from engineering inventoryUpdating and maintaining inventory recordsSoftware Team assists with day-to-day mechanical tasks in the lab, printing labels, grounding wires, setting up switches/APC's/UART's, etc.Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull and lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs About you: Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar roleExperience building and performing system troubleshooting and configuration of hardware platformsBasic network troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Linux installation and basic troubleshootingExperience working with a ticketing system to direct work, creating documentation of processes and workflowPast experience using version control systems for sw development such as Git/Gitlab, Github is a plus. The full base pay range for this role is between $87,500 and $131,500.
