Sleep Technologist (New Graduates Accepted) Location: Tumwater, WA (4 positions) & Chehalis, WA (2 positions) Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) - Current schedule Wed-SatPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Sleep Technologist to join our sleep diagnostic team. The Sleep Technologist plays a vital role in conducting comprehensive sleep studies, monitoring physiological data, and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders by ensuring accurate and high-quality data collection.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for overnight sleep studies, including explaining procedures and answering questions.Collect and integrate patient information to establish appropriate testing protocols.Apply and calibrate diagnostic equipment and sensors according to standard protocols.Monitor patients throughout the study and ensure accurate collection of physiological data.Generate accurate reports and document observations from sleep studies.Provide age-appropriate care and communication for patients across the lifespan.Perform routine equipment care, maintenance, and inventory evaluations.Respond professionally to patient procedural inquiries and ensure comfort and safety throughout testing.QualificationsCompletion of an accredited sleep technology program (Diploma or Associate's degree).Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential required and full technologist licensure in WA.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Commitment to engage in ongoing education, including monthly training as directed.New graduates are welcome; must hold required certifications prior to start.BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance with employer contribution toward premiumsShort-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceLife insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (Two weeks per year)Additional InformationCurrent openings: 4 in Tumwater, WA, Chehalis, WA 2 positions.On-call and night differential: Not offeredRelocation assistance may be negotiated after 6 months of employment (receipt-based)Expected start date: within 1-2 weeks of offerTypical patient ratio: 3:1Patient age range: 3-100 yearsInterview process: Phone interview
