Cath Lab Technologist Job Type: Full-time Shifts: Days Position Summary: The Cath Lab Technologist assists in performing imaging studies in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to support patient care and procedural excellence. Key Responsibilities: Core Duties Follow Cath Lab protocols and department guidelinesEnsure compliance with facility and departmental policiesParticipate in outcomes management, including ACC NCDR PCI registry data entryProvide on-call coverage during evenings and weekends (may exceed 50% of staffing depending on location) Teamwork & Collaboration Communicate effectively in a team environmentAssist in training and mentoring staff in Cath Lab proceduresSupport cardiac services, including pre/post-operative care, non-invasive testing, and patient monitoringProvide operational support including supply management, charge reconciliation, quality control, and lab cleanliness Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of clinical experienceGraduate of an accredited school or training programCertified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)Current BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or equivalent)
