Supervise and mentor graduate, medical, and undergraduate students in research endeavors. Collaborate on teaching and research endeavors related to diseases of the brain with other departments. Liaise with marketing and Philanthropy to increase visibility and funding. Follow College of Medicine - Tucson organizational protocols, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP). Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a biomedical field. Demonstrated track record of distinction in research in an academic research department.
