Patient Care Tech / Medical Scribe at Baylor Surgicare at Plano Provides direct patient care by assisting patients as needed with dressing, getting in and out of bed, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures as needed. Obtains and records patient vital signs and reports results and observations. Assists in multiple areas within facility with the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations. Duties may include materials inventory and procurement, as well as clerical assistance in facility's business office such as patient registration and medical record keeping.
