Director of Student Services and School Food Operations JobID: 273 Position Type: Administration/Director Date Posted: 4/7/2026 Location: Concordia Parish School Board Closing Date: 04/22/2026   Additional Information: Show/Hide Director of Student Services & School Food Operations Reports To: Superintendent Work Year: 12 Months Position Overview The Director of Student Services & School Food Operations is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and compliance oversight of the district's Child Welfare & Attendance programs and School Food Service operations. This position ensures that students' attendance, welfare, and nutritional needs are effectively managed to support academic success and overall well-being. Qualifications * Louisiana certification in Educational Leadership, Visiting Teacher, or related administrative certification * Experience in school administration, child welfare/attendance, or school nutrition programs preferred * Knowledge of state and federal attendance laws and Child Nutrition Program regulations * Willingness to obtain all necessary certifications within 1 year of employment * Such additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate Performance Responsibilities Child Welfare & Attendance * Conduct home visits to address excessive absences and identify barriers * Verify attendance zone compliance * Maintain a continuing child census * Initiate legal proceedings for compulsory attendance violations * Submit attendance and dropout reports * Coordinate pre-school round-ups * Conduct student hearings and due-process proceedings * Serve as liaison to social service agencies * Maintain accurate student records * Coordinate Bullying and PBIS initiatives School Food Service Operations * Direct all Child Nutrition Program operations * Ensure compliance with USDA and LDOE regulations * Oversee menus and nutritional standards * Monitor food safety and sanitation * Manage department budget and purchasing * Supervise cafeteria managers and staff * Oversee meal claims and reimbursement reporting * Coordinate audits and corrective actions * Provide staff training and development Shared Leadership Responsibilities * Collaborate with principals and district leaders * Analyze attendance and nutrition data trends * Prepare reports for Superintendent and Board * Ensure federal and state compliance * Perform other duties as assigned Terms of Employment To be employed twelve months of the year with salary and work year established by the Board. Evaluation Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Board policy for administrative personnel.
