Job Description

Clinical Supervisor & Licensed Therapist (LCPC, LCSW-C)Trauma Specialists of Maryland is a values-based community of helping professionals working to provide effective, evidence-based trauma treatment to enhance the mental well-being of children, adults, families, and couples in our community. We are a highly skilled, fun, dynamic, and collaborative group of clinicians who value working together to treat the impact of trauma on our communities. We are hiring for supervisors who are eligible to become or already are board approved supervisors in Maryland with either the Board of Social Work or Board of Professional Counselors. Our clinical therapists provide outpatient, individual, family, and group therapy to clients of Trauma Specialists of Maryland, LLC with locations in Downtown Frederick, Urbana, and Ballenger Creek, MD. Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, adolescents, couples and families. We are an EMDR focused practice and train all of our clinicians in EMDR if you are not trained already. Other treatment modalities such as IFS, DBT, Neurofeedback are also encouraged.We offer our employees the following:We provide benefits (medical, dental, vision, short term/long term disability and life) to full-time staff, including a 401k match, Bi-monthly Wellness Stipend and discounted pet insurance.Training in EMDR therapy and additional training in trauma to become a Trauma Specialist.Referrals are provided and new clients are scheduled by our stellar intake team. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and an active, unrestricted license (LCPC, LCSW-C)Available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Trauma Specialists.Have experience in treatment planning and excellent documentation.Be compassionate, inclusive, self-motivated, and relatable (a great sense of humor is a plus!)Have a desire to treat trauma effectively.Other Qualification Preferences:Board approved Clinical SupervisorActively pursuing your EMDR Certification, since supervision at TSMD heavily relies on being able to support clinicians with EMDR therapy.Prior experience providing clinical supervisionPrior experience in a private practice setting.Have a specialization in treating trauma.Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS (or ability to be paneled) and other insurance providers.If this sounds like an ideal position for you, we want to hear from you!Apply Here: Careers PageInclude your resume and a cover letter.
