Job Summary: The Cath Lab Tech assists physicians and other healthcare professionals in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role involves preparing patients, operating specialized equipment, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment within the cardiac catheterization laboratory.Location:Olympia, Washington, United StatesResponsibilities: - Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures. - Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in the cath lab. - Monitor patient vital signs during procedures. - Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota, impella, IABP, CTO), Structural Heart (TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, Watchman), and Electrophysiology (EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, BIV and pacemaker implants). - Ensure a safe and sterile environment in the cath lab. - Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems. - Document patient care and related duties appropriately. - Coordinate equipment/supply needs.Required Skills & Certifications: - BLS certification - ACLS certification - ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification - WA RT or CIS License - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab TechPreferred Skills & Certifications: - Rhythm Interpretation skillsSpecial Considerations: - On-call requirements: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks - Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract.Scheduling: - 4x10 Days (0630-1700)
