Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Medical Collections Representative to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Lead and execute the recovery of outstanding claims from Medi-Cal/Medical and DMHReview, analyze, and reconcile aged accounts receivable to resolve billing discrepanciesPrepare and submit accurate reports in compliance with LA County DMH standardsUtilize SIFT for claim tracking, reporting, and reconciliation activitiesNavigate and update CareLogic EMR to validate service documentation and billing accuracy Requirements: Collaborate with billing, finance, and clinical teams to ensure proper documentation and resubmission of claimsMonitor claim status, follow up on denials, and escalate unresolved issues as neededMaintain detailed records of collection efforts and outcomes for audits and reportingDemonstrate strong understanding of SIFT and LA County DMH reporting protocolsWork independently and meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision Qualifications: 3+ years of medical collections experience, preferably with Medi-Cal/Medical and DMHShow experience working with CareLogic EMR or similar electronic medical record systemsExhibit excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrate ability to manage large-scale recovery projects with accuracy and attention to detailBring prior experience in behavioral health or county-funded programs and familiarity with DMH billing codes REF#50965 #Ind-LA-OC
