JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides technical support to Clinical Engineering and Facilities departments by acting as data and business analyst for Engineering specific software applications. Oversees development, maintenance and delivery of application systems. Provides business, analytical, and design skills within assigned platform. Collaborates with stakeholders and peers to gather, translate and transform operational and regulatory requirements into effective technology solutions. Leads continuous process improvement and LEAN processes within the Engineering departments. #Performs full-cycle purchasing and vendor management for departmental needs. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Plant engineering oversees maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors through the installation, preventative maintenance and repair of building and grounds infrastructure and equipment. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor#s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience required. Three (3) years experience in Information Technology required. Experience in Facilities, Clinical, or Industrial Engineering preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Problem Solving: Ability to identify complex problems, involve key parties, gather pertinent data and consider various options in the decision making process. Skilled at applying problem solving skills in a logical, systematic way to resolve issues. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to be productive in prioritizing, scheduling and planning work day to meet customer needs. Ability to juggle different work activities and shift attention from one task to another without losing sight of details and timelines. Conflict Resolution: Ability to influence others to build consensus and gain cooperation. Ability to negotiate disagreements in a positive and constructive manner while considering the contribution of other team members in order to reach a mutually acceptable solution. Communication: Skilled at sharing information in an appropriate and timely manner showing mutual respect and genuinely soliciting the feedback of others.
