Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring during procedures, and supporting complex endovascular and interventional cases.Minimum Requirements:2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience with references.American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or appropriate modality.Graduate of an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.Current state radiography license for Georgia.Critical care or ICU/ER experience required. This includes prior management of critical care drips and hemodynamically unstable patients.Experience with Angio/IR environments and procedures such as port placement, thrombectomy, atherectomy, EVAR/TVAR, TIPS, PE interventions, and stroke/trauma cases.Familiarity with interventional equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, and JetStream.Experience documenting in EPIC/Cupid preferred.Ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams including RNs, ARRT/RTR techs, and RCIS staff.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Unit: Angiography/Interventional Labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR).Shift: Days.Shift hours: 07:00-17:30.Schedule format: 10-hour shifts.Patient ratio typically 1:1 in the interventional suites.Required to support high-acuity patient population including Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center cases.Location Highlights Savannah, GA offers a mix of historic urban charm and coastal access within reasonable drives. Typical procedures include peripheral and neurovascular interventions, endovascular aneurysm repair, TIPS, thrombectomy, port and permcath placements, and trauma-related interventions. The unit uses EPIC Cupid for documentation and operates within a high-acuity, certified stroke center and Level 1 Trauma environment.
