Job Title: Locum OrthodontistPosition OverviewRSMC is seeking a Locum Orthodontist for an 8-12-week assignment with the client. This role focuses on high-quality orthodontic care for children, with strong team support and predictable patient flow.Position Highlights8-12-week locum contract starting mid-January4-day workweek (consistent schedule)Daily rate: $1,400-$1,800/dayLocal Maryland providers only (travel/lodging not provided)Mileage reimbursementPatient load: 50-60 total patients/day for 3 dentistsExpected: 1-2 ortho starts per dayKey ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnosis and comprehensive orthodontic treatment plansDeliver high-quality orthodontic care using accepted clinical techniquesSupport children and their parents in developing strong oral health habitsLead and collaborate with an engaged orthodontic clinical teamRefer patients to dental specialists when appropriateMaintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused environmentEnsure full compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, Dental Board, and all regulatory standardsRequirementsPassion for improving children's oral healthActive Maryland dental license (pending accepted if close to issuance)Board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (preferred)Strong interpersonal skills and professional communicationOrganized and clinically knowledgeable in orthodonticsAbility to commit to 4 days/week for the full 8-12 week durationLet's connect!
