Performs radiographic and CT Scan examinations, and related procedures using a variety of technical skills and organization. Responsible for quality assurance and quality control activities of the radiographic procedures. Transport patients to and from various patients care areas being aware of individual patient needs. Coordinate quality patient care with special attention to patient age and needs. Maintain proper radiation protection for self and patients.Communicates and interacts well with the staff, allied health care personnel, providers, patients and the community, so as to project a positive image of the department and the hospital. Participate in teaching, mentoring and overseeing students enrolled in Imaging Technology Programs during clinical rotation and students shadowing in department as part of an internship or cadet program. Follow the Standards of Behavior, utilize TeamSTEPPS tools and participate in Patient Experience. Perform any other assigned duties as assigned.
