A seasoned Imaging Cath Lab Technologist is sought for a contract position supporting interventional cardiology services across multiple campuses within close proximity in the Omaha, NE area. This role involves providing expert intra-procedural circulatory support, medication administration, and sedation during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in a hospital setting with over three years of relevant experience and certified in RCIS, BLS, and ACLS. Key Responsibilities: Assist with interventional cardiac cath and IR procedures, managing supplies, medications, and sedation Utilize EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems for accurate documentation Float and provide on-call coverage for three campuses-Immanuel, Lakeside, and Mercy CB-with timely response during emergent cases Adhere to strict infection control policies including fingernail restrictions Work collaboratively under the supervision of the Cath Lab manager and charge nurse Maintain up-to-date radiation safety through the client-provided badge Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 3 years hospital-based cardiac cath and interventional radiology experience RCIS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required Valid driver's license to meet radius requirement (within 50 miles of Omaha facilities) Comfortable with frequent call back shifts and floating among campuses Ability to respond to calls within a 30-minute radius from home campus Familiarity with Siemens labs and handling 4-5 cases daily on average Schedule and Requirements: On-call coverage includes weekdays 4:00 pm-7:00 am and weekends/holidays with a minimum of 10 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts Surgical greens dress code, with one week orientation including buddy on-call training Supervisor-approved scheduling to ensure adequate coverage Benefits and Perks: Radiation badge provided by client for safety Versatile work experience in a high-functioning interventional lab handling complex STEMI and critical care patient cases About Omaha, NE: Omaha offers a vibrant metropolitan lifestyle with rich cultural attractions, diverse dining, and strong healthcare networks.
