A well-established specialty pharmacy requires a licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage for one week. Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana Schedule: Monday, 3/30: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday, 3/31: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday, 4/1: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday, 4/2: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday, 4/3: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities: Execute typical retail pharmacy tasks including dispensing medications and counseling patients Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards Utilize the New Leaf system efficiently for daily operations Qualifications: Current Indiana pharmacist license (must be in-hand) Experience in retail pharmacy settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with pharmacy management software is a plus Additional Information: Training prior to the assignment is covered by the client Preference for local candidates; however, travelers are welcome Meal allowance and mileage reimbursement available for travelers Hotel accommodations provided if travel exceeds 75 miles This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible work while gaining experience in a specialty pharmacy environment.
