Job Title

A school-based psychologist position is available to support a virtual academy serving approximately 60 students. This contract role is located in Ontario, OR, and offers a Monday through Thursday schedule totaling 32 hours per week, providing an excellent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making. Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management protocols tailored for a virtual learning environment. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards. Qualifications and Experience: Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working within a virtual or remote educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of child development theories, assessment techniques, and intervention methods. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff. Ability to adapt psychological services to fit the unique needs of a virtual academy.
