American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position in a hospital respiratory unit, requiring current Oregon RT licensure and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.Job Details• Hospital-based respiratory unit setting,• Patients include those with COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease,• Ventilatory support monitoring is a core component of the role,• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift,• 13-week contract,• Travelers may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated,Job Requirements• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program,• Current Oregon RT license required (license required if applicable),• Current RRT credential required,• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP,• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with repositioning patients over 100 lbs using appropriate techniques or team assistance,• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift,Additional Information• Provide respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, including those on ventilatory support,• Evaluate patients' physical and mental status and anticipate patient and staff needs,• Must be able to multitask and function effectively in a group or class setting,• CRASE training is preferred; if the assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required,• Work environment involves frequent exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials; PPE use is required,• Fast-paced, unpredictable setting requiring the ability to respond to emergency or high-pressure situations,• Participation in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position
