Occasional BabysitterDepartment: Care FinderEmployment Type: FlexibleLocation: Denver, COCompensation: $25.00 / hourDescriptionWe are currently looking for a Babysitter in Denver, Colorado 80238A lovely family near Central Park is looking for a Babysitter to provide occasional backup care for their 2 children, 2 years old and 5 months old.Care would be on an as-needed basis some weeknights for work related events and date nights, as well as for daycare closures, and last minute sick care needs. While some dates, such as evening care will be scheduled in advance, some dates may be short notice.Those applying do not need to be available for all requests, but should understand that there are no guaranteed hours for this position.Schedule:Occasional Daytime Care: Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pmOccasional Evening Care: 6pm - 11pm (scheduled in advance)Long Term$25 per hour2 children - 2 years old and 5 months oldResponsibilitiesAll aspects of care and monitoring for two children, including:Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestonesLight meal prep / Bottle PrepDiaper changes / Hygiene related tasksMaintain child's schedules and routines as set by parentsCommunicate effectively with parent regarding child's daily activities, progress, and concerns that may ariseMaintain a clean and organized environment for the children - help with light housework such as dishes, bottles, laundry, and organizing toysWalking to nearby playgrounds and activitiesRequirementsLegally authorized to work in the United States2+ years of paid, professional infant care experienceMust be able to provide at least two professional childcare referencesCPR certified or willing to become certifiedValid Photo IDMust be able to successfully clear a background and social media checkUp-to-Date vaccinations including: Tdap | Covid 19 | FluMust be comfortable with pets in the homeCompensationPosition pays $25 per and the client is looking for occasional backup care.
