This local company is experiencing growth with a new product line and is seeking an Analytical Chemist. They're an established SOPS but are following a newly established line created to increase sales. In this role, you will perform tests and analyze data from GC testing. Work model: On-Site 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM What you will do: Develop, validate, and transfer analytical testing methods for raw materials, intermediates, and final products Troubleshoot technical issues, operating analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR) Perform assays, write technical reports, and maintain GMP/DEA compliance Support off-site testing, compound characterization, and reference material qualification Set up new or existing analytical methods for compound identification, purity, and potency testing What you will need to be successful: Minimum bachelor's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required Chemistry degree desired, with a PhD preferred Familiarity with compliance requirements within cGMP, safety, and regulatory environments Operational knowledge of analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC Strong ability to solve extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data is used Benefits overview: 401k Major health insurance Employee Stock Ownership Plan ( ESOP ) Click here for a complete list of benefits Interested and qualified candidates can contact Chad Weir at (515) 225-7000 or cweir@.
