Nanny (Portuguese-Speaking Required)Location: Manhattan (exact location TBD - Tribeca, Chelsea, Hudson Yards) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Start Date: August 2026 (interviewing in person in May) Compensation: $33-$35/hourA warm, kind mother is relocating to New York City this August with her 3-year-old son and is seeking a supportive, engaging nanny/family assistant to help during this transition. This is a primarily childcare-focused role with light household support related to the child. Her son is energetic, active, and thrives with outdoor play and structured activities. He currently speaks Portuguese only and will be beginning to learn English.Responsibilities include: School pickup and safe transportation to/from activities Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, with an emphasis on active and outdoor play Supporting English language development while communicating in Portuguese Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child Child-related laundry and light tidying/organization Maintaining a consistent, structured, and nurturing routine The ideal candidate is a fluent or native Portuguese speaker (required), warm, engaging, and high-energy, with experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children. The candidate should be proactive, organized, dependable, and comfortable navigating NYC for school pickups and activities.
