Instruct and support students in positive behavior practices in order to meet their personal and academic goals. Support school-level teams with academic and behavioral interventions to promote student growth and achievement. Engage in real-time support and coaching for staff in evidence based, high leverage educational and behavioral practices. Provide immediate and ongoing support to the school crisis-response team.Conduct informal and formal Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students, as needed. Utilize FBAs to develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students. Progress monitor students' BIPs to assess their effectiveness and adjust as needed. Assist and coach staff on writing and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with specific emphasis on behavior intervention.Training Develop and provide classroom, school-wide, and county training and modeling related to successful academic, social/emotional, and behavioral interventions. Promote and establish community outreach and parent support systems related to behavioral interventions and school collaboration. Maintain training practices and philosophies in line with school safety, crisis prevention, behavioral programming, and inclusive practices.Coordinate with other behaviorists and supervise RBTs in their training and practice.Data Analysis and Intervention Provide case conference support to meeting participants. Organize data collection and tracking related to student behavior and achievement. Develop and implement streamlined processes for staff related to data collection and tracking of student behavior and achievement.OtherDocumentation related to Medicaid billing as applicable.
