Cardiac Sonographer-Day Shift Location: Watertown, NY, 13601 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekly Pay Rate: $2,600 - $2,800; (Negotiable based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities: Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures as prescribed by physicians. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with accuracy and efficiency. Analyze and interpret cardiac ultrasound data for diagnostic purposes. Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures. Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate documentation. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Required Qualifications: Graduate from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography. Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience. Specialized training and experience in Cardiac Sonography required. Proficient knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proficient in the use of major medical sonography equipment, including software and hardware from leading manufacturers. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS). Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
