Woods Healthcare outpatient services in Langhorne, PA, provide primary medical, behavioral, and dental health care services to community members with intellectual disability, autism, and behavioral health challenges, delivered through healthcare providers who are knowledgeable, compassionate and skilled at treating this complex population. Member Duties : The VISTA will help increase access to integrated primary medical, behavioral, and dental healthcare services at Woods for community members with intellectual disability, autism, and other disabilities. You will be 1) conducting outreach and raising awareness of Woods Healthcare services; 2) increasing volunteer opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities; and 3) raising additional funds through grant writing. You will be part of a dynamic team to conduct community outreach, assist with setting up visits/tours, presentations, and calls, write compelling materials for both marketing and grant purposes, identify funding prospects, assist with grant-writing, and build relationships with community partners for referrals and volunteer opportunities. In this role, you will enhance your knowledge of healthcare and special populations, as well as build a professional network in the healthcare and nonprofit areas.
