Oversees routine customer support functions of all activities related to hearing aids at all Hearing Center locations. Description of Duties * Provides customer service and handles office functions for the hearing aid center. * Responsible for benefit determination, authorization, order entry and patient/provider communication. * Organizes and evaluates existing business processes for the sale of hearing aids. * Monitors hearing aids and accessories orders daily, initiates orders after all payment arrangements including insurance benefits. * Coordinates and maintains real time inventory tracking of all hearing aid orders, statuses, and patient order communication. * Coordinates process for sale of hearing aids once benefits have been obtained and confirmed. * Responsible for training hearing center team with regards to patient scheduling, workflow to determine benefits for hearing aids, and all other duties as related to the sale of hearing aids. * Reconciles all sales/receipts in inventory system and ensures accurate timely billing. * Prepares accurate cost estimates of hearing aids for patients prior to placing manufacturers' orders. * Coordinates Hearing Center activities/staff and works with team. * Practices excellent customer service in all interactions and exceptional hearing line services. * Assists with hearing aid authorizations as needed. * Prepares revenue and data reports as required. * Assists with set budget and reviews sales data. * Oversees sales and proper documentation within the Electronic Health Records system. * Performs other duties as assigned. Licenses/Certifications None. Required Experience One (1) year of clinical experience performing closely related duties. Preferred Experience Experience working in audiology/ENT/Hearing aids. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Equipment Use of standard office and hearing aid equipment. Working Conditions Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office/healthcare environment; some travel and weekend work is required. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
