Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and support of fluoroscopic and neuro-interventional procedures.Minimum Requirements:Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required).2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neuro IR experience with references preferred.Experience in angiography/special procedures with competence assisting fluoroscopic and neuro-interventional cases, including peripheral, neuro, diagnostic procedures, tubes, drains, and biopsies.Experience administering contrast with a power injector and assessing risk for contrast reactions.Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record systems; familiarity with downtime procedures preferred.BLS (Basic Life Support) required. ACLS preferred.Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred.Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred.Ability to work in a high-volume two-room IR suite with case loads typically 15-20 procedures per day split between teams.Willingness to participate in on-call rotation as required by the facility, including periodic nights and every fourth weekend.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Days.Typical shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.On-call: 1 to 2 nights per week and on-call every 4th weekend.Case mix: Peripheral, neuro, diagnostic procedures; tubes, drains, biopsies.Location HighlightsSpringfield, OH offers a balance of regional attractions and outdoor access.
