We are seeking a School Nurse to join our team at Vilonia. As the School Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and health of all students, providing essential care and promoting a safe learning environment. With your knowledge and expertise, you will contribute to the overall success of our school. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assess and advocate for the health needs of students, including conducting health screenings and assessments. Administer medications and provide medical treatments as needed, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and policies. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to students in need, collaborating with appropriate authorities if necessary. Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions, working closely with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. Educate students and staff on health-related topics. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, documenting treatments, interventions, and communication with parents. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to create a healthy and inclusive school environment, promoting overall wellness and preventing the spread of contagious illnesses. Requirements: A valid RN or LPN license for the state of Arkansas and successful completion of all background checks.
