A school district in Providence, RI is seeking a qualified School Psychologist on a contract basis to support students' academic and emotional needs within the school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide counseling and interventions to support students' social and emotional development. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insights. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology. Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs in educational settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff. Knowledge of current psychological theories, practices, and legal requirements in education.
