Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers in beautiful Houston, Arkansas, offering essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans. This opportunity allows for flexible working arrangements, whether in a local facility or your own practice, while making a significant impact on Veterans' healthcare. Job Responsibilities: Conduct PRN assessments, including one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Provide expert opinion and documentation as required, including addendums and medical opinions. Complete necessary administrative work within the designated work rate structure. Option to work either half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on availability. Support Veterans by delivering quality assessments in either your own office or designated facilities. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products). AANP certification is required. Active and unrestricted full license in Arkansas. Willingness to complete DMA training and become DMA certified. Experience in general medicine or compensation and pension evaluations preferred. License and Certification Requirements: Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas. Current AANP certification is required.
